The frog that climbs the wall!!!

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.

A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....

The race began....

Honestly:
No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:
"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"
"They will NEVER make it to the top."
or:
"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one....
Except for those, who in a fresh tempo , were climbing higher and higher....
The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....

But ONE continued higher and higher and higher....
This one wouldn't give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!

THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?
A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?

It turned out....
That the winner was DEAF!!!!

The wisdom of this story is:

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.... because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart!

More importantly, you must NOT be the ONE who tell yourself you cant do it! It is bad enough that people around you give you negative thoughts, you should not be joining their club! Always remember that. Do not sabotage yourself, your life, your dream...

Always think of the power words have.
Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
That is why Islam has taught us to always utter good words

When there is a will, there will be a way. No shortcuts to success. No escalator to the top floor. You have to climb up. Just like everyone else. If you find an escalator, you might reach the top the easy way, but, then, you wont have enough 'exercise' as compared to the real stairs climbers! They would have strong leg muscle than you, they would have better heart than you, they would have stronger lungs than you and so on and so forth. welcoming ramadhan...

greetings...

today, i'm welcoming ramadhan into my life! in fact i'm welcoming ramadhan into all of muslims' life! of course when it's ramadhan, all the muslims have to fast from early morning (subuh) till late evening (maghrib). we are not alllowed to eat or drink until breakfast. for first timers meaning kids or mu'alaf that recently embraced islam, it may be a lil' bit tiring! but for me, i've been fasting 'full time' since i was 9 years old! by full time, i mean from subuh till maghrib! i emphasized 'full time' because before 9 yrs old, i only fasted 'half time', that was until zohor.

well, since today is the first day of ramadhan, let me wish all muslims, happy ramadhan, happy fasting and happy breakfasting! don't try to cheat, okay! Allah will know if you sneak to eat or drink! maybe people won;t see your wrong doings but Allah will always keeping watch over all of us, His khalifah. so, don't ever try doing something bad! furthermore all the Syaithon a.k.a devils have been imprisoned in this holy month. if we do something bad this month, it's not because of the devil's temptation but from our own. this is just a reminder for me and all of you.

greetings ppl! how's life lately?! mine?! hmmm, compared to before, my life's quite relaxing these few weeks 'cos i've got medical leave until 9 september 2008. reason for my medical leave is none other than chikugunya combined with stressed. hohoho, my work is really stressful for serious. dealing with immigrants is one hell of a job! actually dealing with immigrants is not that hard or stressful, it's dealing with my bosses and co-workers that gave me headache! sometimes, when u r 'in the middle' like me, by middle, i mean you have bosses and sometimes u have ppl under u that u have to give instruction to, is hard to cope with! i know that a lot of u were stucked in the same situation as me! well, all that i can say is, bear with it! see it as a challege for us to conquer. well, let's get back to the topic on hand! today, i would like to talk on L.O.V.E! what's my perspective on this word?! well, honestly the first thing that came to my mind when i saw this word is the classic song by Nat King Cole;

that quite summarize my opinion of love, hehe... actually in this whole wide world, there are several different types of love. Love for our Creator(Allah), love for His Messenger (Prophet Muhammad s.a.w), love for our parents, siblings, families, love for our partner, children and so many more. but now, i woould love to talk about love for our partner or in simple words love for our girlfriends/boyfriends/husbands/wives. since i'm not married YET, i'll talk on the love to boyfrieds/girlfriends.

well, if u guys are wondering whether i've that special someone that can be called as my boyfriend. honestly me myself, don't know, hahaha~~ i'm telling u the truth here, i'm not lying or kidding! HONESTLY, i don't know! sometimes i think i've one, sometimes i think i've none and sometimes i've even think that i have more than one, haha! u can call me a bluff or liar, but that's the truth! now let me tell you a secret that won't be a secret anymore after i pour it out... each time after my solat, i pray to Allah not to open my heart to love anyone unless that one is THE ONE. by THE ONE, i meant the guy that'll finally becom my HUSBAND! now, the secret is out, hahaha... =p stoooopid me, hehehe...

i think that one of the reason i've never had a aboyfriend until now! oops, forgot... i've had one during my time in germany. the relationship lasted less than a month! the reason i had that relationship was because of..... hehehe, let it be a secret okay! but i think lots of my closed friends know the truth behind that relationship! to the guy invoved, i'm so very sorry for treating u the way i've treated you before! hope now u r happy with ur spcial someone! i know u had one and she's 10000x greater that me for she loves u the way u r! i keep tracked of u not because i'm obsessed but just because i want to know whether or not u r happy! and when i found out that u r, seemed like a burden of guilt have been lifted from my shoulder, huhu~~

well, love is very subjective! different people, different opinions. as for me, love is a very beautiful feeling that Allah gives us, so that we can make this world we live in a very wonderful place! but, as we can see, this world we live in is not as wonderful as before because hate overwrites love! we see war everywhere because people forget to love. it's sad seeing people nowadays never consider the feeling of others, they just think about themselves! i know sometimes, we need to be selfish, but being selfish each time is wrong! ermmm...

beside that, love cannot be forced. ever heard the saying, if u love someone, let her/him free. if he/she loves u back, he/she will come back! that for me is so very true. never forced someone to love you, let the love flows freely and steadily! if u forced love, it will not last. i'm talking from my own experiences. believe me but if u don;t believe me, it's okay! it's ur choice, i've no sayings in ur opinions. only u, urself can made ur own decision. i think that's all for now. remember, love is subjective and let me tell u another secret. i love u all, muahs~ muahs~ not really a secret, 'rite?! ;p
